and back again, waiting for the train in newark. sat next to an elderly filipino couple on the way back - it was their first time flying anywhere, ever, which helped me not take this global life for granted.
in the cab to the train to the airport, feeling sad to leave. anticipating a new season of 24 makes me feel a little better.

sweeping the dirt. japan is incredibly clean, did i mention that? but there aren’t many garbage cans around.
